About Fine Art Photography

The majority of the fine art is captured using a Canon Digital Single Lens Reflex camera. This digital file is brought into Adobe Photoshop and other software applications to retouch dust, scratches, or any flaws. The software is also used to make basic color and contrast corrections. These corrections are no different than would be done in any conventional darkroom and are employed to achieve the artist's original vision. The photography is printed onto LightJet Crystal Archive paper using a Lightjet 5000 digital laser enlarger. The print has a life rated to approximately 70 years.
